Borbon Earns AMC Athlete of the Week Honors

            St. Louis, Mo. – For the second straight week, Central Baptist College men's basketball has the American Midwest Conference offensive player of the week. Sage Borbon was selected for this week following Jonas Carlisle's selection last week.

            Borbon averaged 19.5 points, 5.5 assists and four rebounds per game in wins this week over Ecclesia and John Brown. He scored 19 points, handed out six assists and grabbed two rebounds in 19 minutes against Ecclesia on Thursday and then scored 20 points with six rebounds and five assists in Friday's win over John Brown.

            Borbon and the Mustangs are at the John Brown Classic in Siloam Springs this weekend. The first game of the tournament will be at 2 p.m. on Friday against Florida College.
