Conway, Ark. – Playing their final Saturday match of the season at home, Central Baptist College women's soccer hosted the Stars of Stephens College in an American Midwest Conference contest today on Senior Day at the Centennial Soccer Complex. In a hard fought match, CBC (6-8-2, 3-3-1 AMC) was unable to put a ball into the Stephens (1-12-3, 1-3-2 AMC) net, ending the match in a scoreless draw.
Seven seniors, Erica Hawkins, Ashley Hultquist, Jayme Selph, Isabelle Pietrangelo, Amber Morse, Ciara Bonner and Bayleigh Williams were honored after the match. Selph was challenged once in net and made it stick, as CBC outshot SC 8-3 overall and 4-1 on goal.
Having already clinched a spot in the upcoming AMC tournament, CBC puts a bow on the regular season on Tuesday when they welcome the Eagles of Williams Baptist University to Centennial Soccer Park. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
