Conway, Ark. – Looking to extend their winning streak to four straight, Central Baptist College men's soccer hosted the Trojans of Hannibal-LaGrange today in an American Midwest Conference contest at the Conway Soccer Complex. CBC (4-6-1, 2-1 AMC) saw their shutout streak end at 298 minutes as they allowed a pair of first half goals to fall 2-0 to HLGU (5-8-2, 2-2 AMC).
Goals in the 18th and 21st minutes gave the Trojans the lead and Jasper Gadellaa was able to stop two additional opportunities. CBC was only able to get one shot towards the HLGU net.
The Mustangs head to Williams Baptist on Tuesday for their next contest. Kickoff from Walnut Ridge is scheduled for 3 p.m.
