North Little Rock, Ark. – Playing shorthanded for the second consecutive week, Central Baptist College women's soccer hosted the Hornets of Harris-Stowe State in an American Midwest Conference match this afternoon at the Burns Park Soccer Complex. 10-women CBC (0-6-1, 0-3 AMC) gave up three goals in the first half and two in the second to fall to HSSU (4-5-1, 1-2 AMC) 5-0 after the match was called after 70 minutes due to attrition.
Rebecca Vandenburg was able to make four saves for the Mustangs. CBC returns to the pitch on Tuesday for an AMC match at Missouri Baptist. Kickoff from St. Louis is scheduled for 1 p.m.
