Volleyball Season Ends In AMC Semifinals
November 14, 2025
Chesterfield, Mo. – Having earned the #5 seed in the American Midwest Conference Volleyball Championship, Central Baptist College took on the Mission Patriots in the quarterfinal round. After making history by beating Mission (15-18) in four sets (by scores of 27-25, 19-25, 25-23 and 25-14) for their first win ever in the AMC tournament, CBC (10-24) saw their season come to an end in the semifinals, as they fell to top-seed Columbia (21-14) in straight sets by scores of 8-25, 16-25, and 20-25.
Volleyball Has Three Selected To All-Conference Teams

St. Louis, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference announced their all-conference selections for volleyball and three Central Baptist College Mustangs were amongst the selections. Congratulations to Avary Smith, Madeline Freeman, and Ava White on their all-conference selections.
Mustangs Fall To Stars

Columbia, Mo. – Beginning a three-match trip to Columbia to end the regular season, Central Baptist College volleyball was at Silverthorne Arena tonight for an American Midwest Conference tilt with the Stephens Stars. CBC (8-22, 7-9 AMC) dropped the match 8-25, 19-25, 14-25 to SC (23-11, 15-1 AMC).
Volleyball Falls To Mission

Springfield, Mo. – Opening their final four-match stretch of the regular season, all of which are on the road, Central Baptist College volleyball took on the Mission University Patriots in an American Midwest Conference clash last night at W.E. Dowell Fieldhouse. CBC (8-21, 7-8 AMC) won the first set 25-23 against MU (13-17, 9-7 AMC) but dropped the final three by scores of 18-25, 17-25 and 20-25.
Streets Earns Athlete of the Week Honors

St. Louis, Mo. – For the first time this season, Central Baptist College volleyball has a player that has been named athlete of the week by the American Midwest Conference. DaiTona Streets was named defensive player of the week, presented by AMCOnTheGo this afternoon and is now eligible for selection as national player of the week, which will be selected tomorrow.

Conway, Ark. – Playing for the penultimate time at home this season, Central Baptist College volleyball hosted the Cottey Comets tonight in an American Midwest Conference match on Senior Night for Madeline Freeman inside A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (6-18, 5-5 AMC) won sets two, three and five over Cottey (14-14, 6-5 AMC) using strong blocking to soar past the Comets.
Mustangs Wrap Up Non Conference Schedule against Philander Smith

Conway, Ark. – Stepping out of American Midwest Conference play for the final time this season, Central Baptist College volleyball hosted the Philander Smith Panthers at Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (5-18) took set three from PSU (13-9) 25-19 but lost the other three sets with scores of 14, 21, and 16.

Conway, Ark. – Hosting an American Midwest Conference tri-match for the first time this season, Central Baptist College volleyball took on the Stephens Stars and the Crowley’s Ridge Pioneers at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse today. CBC (5-17, 4-5 AMC) dropped both matches in straight sets.

Blue Mountain, Miss. – Playing their first opponent of the season for a second time, Central Baptist College volleyball was at BMCU Arena tonight for a match with the Blue Mountain Christian Toppers. CBC (4-15) fell in straight sets to BMCU (16-5) by scores of 10-25, 17-25, 15-25.

CBC (3-13, 2-3 AMC) fell in straight sets to CRC (6-12, 5-0 AMC) by scores of 14-25, 13-25, and 17-25.

Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (3-12, 2-2 AMC) dropped the match in straight sets, falling to MU (5-13, 1-4 AMC) by scores of 22-25, 19-25 and 18-25.

St. Louis, Mo. – Playing on the road for the first time since the ninth, Central Baptist College volleyball was on the court today at the Emerson Performance Center for a pair of American Midwest Conference matches against Harris-Stowe and Hannibal-LaGrange. CBC (3-10, 2-1 AMC) swept the matches, beating HSSU (4-8, 2-1 AMC) in four sets by scores of 25-21, 12-25, 25-18 and 25-19 before sweeping HLGU (1-5, 0-3) by scores of 25-20, 25-14 and 25-12.
