St. Louis, Mo. – Looking to stop a two-game losing skid, Central Baptist College men’s basketball took on the Eutectics of UHSP tonight in an American Midwest Conference contest at UHSP Gymnasium. CBC (7-13, 4-4 AMC) never trailed, leading by as many as 23 in a 77-68 win over UHSP (3-17, 0-7 AMC) to sweep the season.
Mustangs Split At LCU Invitational

Pineville, La. – Opening the 2026 season a day earlier than originally scheduled, Central Baptist College softball was at the Louisiana Christian Invitational today at the Champion Sportsplex. CBC (1-1) split the first day, beating the hosts Louisiana Christian (0-1) 10-4 before dropping the second game against #13 LSU-Alexandria (2-0) 11-3 in five innings.
Lady Mustangs Fall To Eutectics on Record Night For Head

St. Louis, Mo. – Playing for the first time since a winter storm hit, Central Baptist College women’s basketball was at UHSP Gymnasium tonight for an American Midwest Conference clash with the UHSP Eutectics. CBC (6-11, 3-6 AMC) got two program records from Raigan Head, but fell victim to a season sweep by UHSP (10-9, 7-2 AMC) 104-80.
2026 Season Preview: Softball

Conway, Ark. – Coming off a trip to the NAIA Opening Round, Central Baptist College softball opens the 2026 season tomorrow in Pineville, La., at the Louisiana Christian Invitational. CBC opens with the hosts first at 3 p.m. before taking on #13 LSU-Alexandria at 5 p.m. with Thursday’s games taking place at the Ward 9 Sportsplex.

Conway, Ark. – Wrapping up the first half of American Midwest Conference play tonight, Central Baptist College men’s basketball hosted the Williams Baptist University Eagles inside A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (6-13, 3-4 AMC) had an eight point lead with 1:19 to play before allowing WBU (15-2, 5-1 AMC) to come back and win 80-79.

Conway, Ark. – Playing their final game in the first half of the American Midwest Conference schedule, Central Baptist College women’s basketball took on in-state rival Williams Baptist tonight inside A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (6-10, 3-5 AMC) had an early first quarter lead, but trailed 50-33 at halftime before losing to WBU (13-3, 7-1 AMC) 103-58.

Oklahoma City – For the first time in history, Central Baptist College has the Sooner Athletic Conference wrestler of the week. Alex Lopez, a recent addition to the Mustang wrestling squad, was selected as this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Digital Scoreboards wrestler of the week.

Conway, Ark. – Playing in front of a home crowd for the first time in 2026, Central Baptist College men’s basketball hosted #22 Columbia this afternoon for homecoming at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (6-12, 3-3 AMC) led one time and fell to #22 CC (17-1, 6-0 AMC) 70-52.

Conway, Ark. – Looking to upset the top team in the American Midwest Conference, Central Baptist College women’s basketball hosted the Columbia Cougars on homecoming at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (6-9, 3-4 AMC) led 33-29 at halftime but were outscored 52-26 in the second half to fall 81-59 to CC (16-2, 7-0 AMC).

CBC (6-11, 3-2 AMC) used strong defense and an outstanding effort from the bench to beat CRC (8-10, 1-3 AMC) 66-56.

CBC (6-8, 3-3 AMC) used great defense and knocked down 11 threes to beat CRC (0-15, 0-6 AMC) 77-40.
Mat Mustangs Split Tri-Dual In Walnut Ridge

Walnut Ridge, Ark. – Wrestling in state for the second consecutive week, Central Baptist College wrestling was on the mat tonight at the Southerland Mabee Center for a tri-dual against McMurry and Williams Baptist. CBC split the matches, beating McMurry 34-16 before dropping the WBU dual 43-10.
Head Earns AMC Offensive Player of the Week Honors

St. Louis, Mo. – For the third time this season, Raigan Head has earned weekly honors from the American Midwest Conference presented by AMCOnTheGo. Head earned her second offensive player of the week selection (Nov. 3) this week after earning defensive player of the week back on Dec. 15.

Conway, Ark. – Playing for the third time this week, Central Baptist College women’s basketball hosted the Cottey Comets this afternoon in an American Midwest Conference clash at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (5-8, 2-3 AMC) and Cottey (3-11, 2-3 AMC) were tied at halftime and the Comets finished on top 82-76.

Hannibal, Mo. – Looking to bounce back from a tough loss on Tuesday, Central Baptist College men’s basketball took on the Hannibal-LaGrange Trojans today in an American Midwest Conference contest at the Mabee Sports Complex. CBC (5-11, 2-2 AMC) struggled shooting and missed an opportunity to send it to overtime with .3 left, falling to HLGU (8-6, 2-1 AMC) 58-57.
