Conway, Ark. – Hosting an American Midwest Conference rival for the second time this season, Central Baptist College men’s basketball took on the UHSP Eutectics at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (5-8, 2-0 AMC) trailed by four at halftime but locked down defensively in the second half to beat UHSP (3-9, 0-1 AMC) 71-58.

Conway, Ark. – Opening American Midwest Conference play without the conference’s leading scorer, Central Baptist College men’s basketball hosted the Hornets of Harris-Stowe State tonight at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (4-8, 1-0 AMC) needed an extra five minutes to defeat HSSU (1-9, 0-2 AMC) 91-85 to open conference play with a win.

Conway, Ark. – Looking to bounce back after an American Midwest Conference opening loss, Central Baptist College women’s basketball hosted the Harris-Stowe State University Hornets tonight in an American Midwest Conference contest at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (4-6, 1-1 AMC) was down 12 with 1:50 left in the third quarter but outscored HSSU (2-6, 0-2 AMC) 29-20 in the fourth to come away with an 86-82 win.

Henderson, Tenn. – Playing in their penultimate non-conference game, Central Baptist College men’s basketball was at the Brewer Sports Center today for a rematch with the #3 Lions of Freed-Hardeman University. CBC (3-8) trailed by one at halftime, but struggled shooting in the second half and lost 79-57 to FHU (13-1).

Conway, Ark. – Playing their second straight game at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse, Central Baptist College women’s basketball opened American Midwest Conference play this afternoon against the Eutectics of the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis. CBC (3-6, 0-1 AMC) trailed 41-21 at the half and fell to UHSP (3-6, 1-0 AMC) 80-49.

Conway, Ark. – Wrestling at home for the first time this season, Central Baptist College hosted the Mustang Invitational today at Buzz Bolding Arena. CBC placed ninth in the tournament and had 10 wrestlers compete in nine different weight classes.

CBC (3-5) never trailed, leading by as many as 48 in an 88-44 win over EC (1-9).

Little Rock, Ark. – Making a trip to take on the first team they played this season, Central Baptist College men’s basketball was at Mims Gymnasium tonight for a matchup with the Panthers of Philander Smith. CBC (3-6) outshot PSU (6-1) from three but it wasn’t enough as the Mustangs were defeated 78-68.
