Sterlington, La. – Playing in the premier regular season tournament in the NAIA, Central Baptist College baseball opened play today in the Cajun Collision against LSU-Alexandria and the University of Science and Arts in Oklahoma. CBC (2-2) dropped both games, falling 5-2 to LSUA before losing 10-4 to USAO in the nightcap.
Mustangs Drop First Two At Generals Showdown

Alexandria, La. – Playing in a Louisiana Tournament for the second straight weekend, Central Baptist College softball was at the Generals Showdown today against Louisiana Christian and Texas A&M-San Antonio. CBC (2-4) dropped both games, losing to LCU (4-1) 3-1 before falling to TAMUSA (3-1) 8-3.

Conway, Ark. – Looking to win two-in-a-row at home for the first time this season, Central Baptist College men’s basketball hosted the Hannibal-LaGrange Trojans in an American Midwest Conference matchup inside A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (9-14, 6-5 AMC) trailed by two at halftime and couldn’t get past HLGU (14-7, 8-2 AMC), falling 63-57.

Conway, Ark. – Looking for a season sweep and their second consecutive win at home. Central Baptist College women’s basketball hosted the Trojans of Hannibal-LaGrange in an American Midwest Conference contest tonight at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (9-11, 6-6 AMC) trailed by one after a quarter but outscored HLGU (5-17, 2-11 AMC) 22-10 in the second before dominating the second half in a 79-50 win and a season sweep of the Trojans.

Softball Sweeps First AMC Weekly Honors of the Season

St. Louis, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference presented their softball player and pitcher of the week for the first time this season and a pair of Central Baptist College players were the selections. Kori Truelove earned AMC Player of the Week while Ryleigh Keele nailed down AMC Pitcher of the Week honors.
Head Earns Fourth AMC Weekly Honor

St. Louis, Mo. – For the fourth time this season, Raigan Head has been named AMC Player of the Week. She was recognized for the third on the offensive side this season to go with a DPOW recognition as well.

St. Louis, Mo. – Looking to come away with back-to-back road American Midwest Conference victories, Central Baptist College men’s basketball took on Harris-Stowe State this afternoon at the Emerson Performance Center. CBC (8-13, 5-4 AMC) trailed by nine early, but led by eight at halftime and shot 54 percent from the field for a 86-77 win over Harris-Stowe (4-16, 1-8 AMC), sweeping the Hornets this season.

St. Louis, Mo. – Addison Hudspeth’s three-pointer at the buzzer this afternoon gave Central Baptist College women’s basketball (7-11, 4-6 American Midwest Conference) a 65-63 win this afternoon at the Emerson Performance Center over Harris-Stowe State (4-12, 3-7 AMC). Hudspeth’s shot capped off a game that saw 6 ties and 17 lead changes.

Pineville, La. – Looking to rebound after a split on day one of the Louisiana Christian Invitational, Central Baptist College softball played again this afternoon at the Champion Sportsplex against Embry-Riddle and Nelson. CBC (2-2) split again, dropping game one to ERAU (1-0) 8-5 before beating Nelson (0-3) 3-0 in the finale.

St. Louis, Mo. – Looking to stop a two-game losing skid, Central Baptist College men’s basketball took on the Eutectics of UHSP tonight in an American Midwest Conference contest at UHSP Gymnasium. CBC (7-13, 4-4 AMC) never trailed, leading by as many as 23 in a 77-68 win over UHSP (3-17, 0-7 AMC) to sweep the season.

Pineville, La. – Opening the 2026 season a day earlier than originally scheduled, Central Baptist College softball was at the Louisiana Christian Invitational today at the Champion Sportsplex. CBC (1-1) split the first day, beating the hosts Louisiana Christian (0-1) 10-4 before dropping the second game against #13 LSU-Alexandria (2-0) 11-3 in five innings.
Lady Mustangs Fall To Eutectics on Record Night For Head

St. Louis, Mo. – Playing for the first time since a winter storm hit, Central Baptist College women’s basketball was at UHSP Gymnasium tonight for an American Midwest Conference clash with the UHSP Eutectics. CBC (6-11, 3-6 AMC) got two program records from Raigan Head, but fell victim to a season sweep by UHSP (10-9, 7-2 AMC) 104-80.

CBC opens with the hosts first at 3 p.m. before taking on #13 LSU-Alexandria at 5 p.m. with Thursday’s games taking place at the Ward 9 Sportsplex.

Conway, Ark. – Wrapping up the first half of American Midwest Conference play tonight, Central Baptist College men’s basketball hosted the Williams Baptist University Eagles inside A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (6-13, 3-4 AMC) had an eight point lead with 1:19 to play before allowing WBU (15-2, 5-1 AMC) to come back and win 80-79.
