St. Louis, Mo. – Entering the day in a three-way tie for first place in the American Midwest Conference, Central Baptist College softball took on the 15th-ranked Spartans of Missouri Baptist this afternoon at Spartan Field. CBC (21-17, 10-2 AMC) split the doubleheader with #15 MBU (28-6, 10-2 AMC), dropping game one 9-0 before winning game two 3-2.

Little Rock, Ark. – Looking to salvage at least a split in their American Midwest Conference series with #23 Missouri Baptist, Central Baptist College baseball hosted the Spartans today at the Pulaski Academy Baseball Complex. CBC (21-20, 17-11 AMC) couldn’t muster the offense, dropping the doubleheader 5-2 and 11-4 to MBU (28-9, 23-5 AMC).

Clifton, Tenn. – Starting the day 32 shots off the lead, Central Baptist College men’s golf played the final 18 holes today at the Lions Spring Classic at Ross Creek Landing. CBC improved by seven shots on the day, finishing with a 322 for a total of 651, finishing in 10th place.

Clifton, Tenn. – Entering the final round in sixth place, Central Baptist College women’s golf looked to make a charge today in the final round of the Lions Spring Classic at Ross Creek Landing. CBC combined to shoot a 370 in the second round for a total of 775 to remain in sixth place.

Clifton, Tenn. – Returning to the course after a two week absence, Central Baptist College men’s golf teed off today for the Freed-Hardeman Lions Spring Classic at Ross Creek Landing. CBC opened with a 329 and is in 10th place, 32 shots behind the leaders.

Hannibal, Mo. – Entering the day in sole possession of first place in the American Midwest Conference, Central Baptist College softball took on the Trojans of Hannibal-LaGrange today at Veterans’ Memorial Stadium. CBC (20-16, 9-1 AMC) split with HLGU (6-20, 1-7 AMC), losing game one 7-6 before winning game two 8-1.

Little Rock, Ark. – Opening an American Midwest Conference home series on a Monday for the first time this season, Central Baptist College baseball hosted the #23 Spartans of Missouri Baptist this afternoon at the Pulaski Academy Baseball Complex. CBC (21-18, 17-9 AMC) lost both ends to MBU (26-9, 21-5 AMC) 3-2 and 19-3.

North Little Rock, Ark. – Hosting a non-American Midwest Conference opponent for the final time this season, Central Baptist College played a matinee doubleheader this afternoon against the College of the Ozarks Bobcats. CBC (21-16) split with C of O (16-18), taking game one 13-2 before losing game two 16-4 to drop the season series 3-1.

Kansas City, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics released their men’s basketball All-Americans today and for the ninth time in program history, Central Baptist College has a selection. Sage Borbon joined an exclusive class of players to be named All-American.

Fulton, Mo. – Looking for another American Midwest Conference series win, Central Baptist College baseball was back at the Backer Sports Complex this afternoon for another doubleheader with the William Woods Owls. CBC (20-15, 17-7 AMC) dropped both games today, losing 3-0 in game one and 12-5 in game two to WWU (20-15, 13-11 AMC).

CBC (20-13, 17-5 AMC) swept the day, pounding out 28 runs and 27 hits in wins over WWU by scores of 19-6 and 10-7.
