St. Louis, Mo. – Entering the day in a three-way tie for first place in the American Midwest Conference, Central Baptist College softball took on the 15th-ranked Spartans of Missouri Baptist this afternoon at Spartan Field. CBC (21-17, 10-2 AMC) split the doubleheader with #15 MBU (28-6, 10-2 AMC), dropping game one 9-0 before winning game two 3-2.

CBC (21-20, 17-11 AMC) couldn’t muster the offense, dropping the doubleheader 5-2 and 11-4 to MBU (28-9, 23-5 AMC).

CBC (20-13, 17-5 AMC) swept the day, pounding out 28 runs and 27 hits in wins over WWU by scores of 19-6 and 10-7.
