Conway, Ark. – Playing their third straight home game to open the season, Central Baptist College women’s basketball hosted the Wildcats of Louisiana Christian University this afternoon at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (1-2) raced out to a 21-9 first quarter lead and maintained the rest of the way, beating LCU (0-2) 84-73 in the first meeting ever between the two schools.

Lady Mustangs Drop Season Opener To Philander Smith

Conway, Ark. – Opening the season with an opponent they haven’t faced in 11 years, Central Baptist College women’s basketball hosted the Philander Smith Panthers tonight in front of a packed A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (0-1) got off to a slow start and never recovered, dropping the contest to PSU (1-0) by a score of 86-58.

Conway, Ark. – Central Baptist College head women’s basketball coach Kory Heffentrager has announced the 2025-26 schedule for her Lady Mustangs. The season includes 30 games with three Division I exhibitions and 13 games in front of the home fans at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse.

Conway, Ark. – Central Baptist College women’s basketball coach Kory Heffentrager has announced the hiring of a new assistant coach to her staff for the 2025-26 season. Ali Hillis will join the staff as Coach Heff’s first assistant hire.
