Bio
Ryan Guyton enters his fifth season as an assistant coach for the CBC Baseball program in 2025. He will also serve for the fourth season as the head coach of the Developmental Team.
Guyton, a 2020 graduate of CBC, played four years of baseball at CBC, including three years on the varsity team from 2017-19. He played a variety of different positions in his career, including third base, second base and left field. In 121 career games, he batted .305 with 72 runs scored, 15 doubles, four home runs, 36 RBIs, 30 walks and six steals. His specialty, however, was getting on base, as he had a career .420 on-base percentage which included 14 times being hit by a pitch as a senior.
In 2019, Guyton had his best season, batting .336 with 30 runs scored, eight doubles, two home runs and 18 RBIs. The season also included a five-hit game against Lindenwood-Belleville in the American Midwest Conference tournament, making him one of only 11 players in program history to record at least five hits in a game.
In 2018, Guyton earned the Champion of Character award and became a regular starter in the lineup toward the end of the season, playing in 40 games and batting .296 with 25 runs scored, five doubles, two home runs and 12 RBIs. A memorable moment for Guyton that season was hitting his first career home run, which was a walk-off grand slam against Blue Mountain in the third game of the home opening series that season.
In 2017, Guyton was primarily used as a runner, playing in 30 games, scoring 17 runs and drawing 12 walks.
Guyton is a member of Central Baptist Church in Conway and is married to Bethany, who graduated from Arkansas Tech.
