
#MustangsWin! CBC Cruises Into AMC Semifinals With Dominant Win Over UHSP!

Conway, Ark. – Opening play in the American Midwest Conference Tournament presented by Tandem HR tonight, Central Baptist College men's basketball, the tournament's #1 seed, opened the quarterfinal round by hosting the Eutectics of UHSP inside A. R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (23-6) Never trailed, leading by as many as 46 en route to a 112-66 win over UHSP (1-26).
The win propels CBC into the AMC semifinals for the seventh year in a row, the longest current streak amongst AMC members. Wade Williams led four Mustangs in double figures with 22 off the bench while Hykeem Hancock notched his first career double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, with Tomas Mikyska adding 14 and Deshawn Corprew posting 11. CBC shot 54 percent from the field and 40 percent from three, outrebounding UHSP 50-35 and dominating them in every category, including a 72-16 edge in points from the bench.
