Bio
Ken Prophete enters his 16th season as the only head coach in CBC wrestling history in 2024-25. He began the program at CBC in 2010 and has also served as either the Sports Information or Assistant Sports Information Director during his time at CBC.
2023-24 saw CBC finish second in the AMC Wrestling Championship for the second straight season. David Corretjer was named the AMC Wrestler of the Year and earned an all-conference nod at 125 pounds then made history by advancing to the third round of the NAIA National Championship Tournament. Alejandro Mas was named to the All-Academic Team in the conference as well.
2022-23 saw the Mustangs finish second in the AMC for the first time ever, falling just two points short of a conference championship behind Missouri Baptist. Darron Harvey earned AMC Newcomer of the Year and Corretjer earned AMC Freshman of the year honors. The Mustangs also had four all-conference wrestlers for the first time ever with Corretjer earning it at 125 pounds, Alejandro Mas earning the nod at 149 pounds, Christian Richer at 165 pounds and Harvey at heavyweight with Richer earning third place in his weight class and Harvey winning the AMC Championship and advancing to the NAIA National Championship.
2021-22 saw CBC place fifth in the AMC Championship. Brian Mas earned a third place finish at 149 pounds and Christian Richer was able to capture second place at 165 pounds.
Prophete's men have gotten better every year and all of them have gone on to do great things for God since they left CBC.
