2022 Spring Sports Wrap Up

Conway, Ark. – With all the postseason awards now announced, it’s time for the 2022 spring sports season wrap up. Baseball, softball, golf and outdoor track & field all had successful seasons on the field and in the classroom.
50 Student-Athletes Selected to AMC All-Conference Academic Teams

St. Louis, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference released their final set of Academic All-Conference selections yesterday. 50 Central Baptist College student-athletes from the sports of baseball, softball, men’s & women’s golf and men’s track & field were selected to the Academic All-Conference teams after posting GPAs above a 3.0 in the Spring semester.
Records Fall on Final Day of AMC Championships

St. Louis, Mo. – With final events scheduled for today, Central Baptist College Track & Field had four athletes competing in six events this afternoon. Two athletes, Ally Swaim and Josh Brown, medaled while Swaim earned even higher recognition as well.
Mustangs Compete at AMC Outdoor Championships

St. Louis, Mo. – The 2022 American Midwest Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships began today at Spartan Field on the campus of Missouri Baptist University. Four runners competed in the preliminary rounds today with the finals scheduled for tomorrow.
Track & Field Competes At Red Wolves Open

Jonesboro, Ark. – Competing for the final time before the American Midwest Conference Championship, Central Baptist College track & field was at Arkansas State University today for the Red Wolves Open. CBC had a total of six competitors on the afternoon.
Swaim Qualifies For Nationals At Little Rock Twilight

Little Rock, Ark. – Ally Swaim made history again tonight as the Central Baptist College track & field team competed at the Little Rock Twilight Meet at the Coleman Sports Complex. Swaim won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.58 to qualify for the NAIA Outdoor National Championship with a ‘B’ standard qualifying time, just .03 off the ‘A’ standard time.
Track & Field Competes In Bison Open

Searcy, Ark. – Competing in-state for the first time in a month, Central Baptist College track & field was at the Bison Open today, hosted by Harding University. Three Mustangs, Ally Swaim, Josh Brown and Isiaih Patterson all competed.
Track & Field Competes at Friends Spring Open

Wichita, Kan. – Heading out of state for the second straight weekend, Central Baptist College track & Field was at the Friends Spring Invitational today. CBC had three competitors during the meet, Ally Swaim in the 100-meter hurdles, Josh Brown, in the men’s 110-meter hurdles and Isaiah Stiger in the long jump.

Searcy, Ark. – Competing for the second time this season, Central Baptist College track & field was at the Harding Invitational today. No team scores were recorded, but Ally Swaim won yet another race in her illustrious career.
Track Competes In First Outdoor Meet of the Season

Conway, Ark. – Competing in their first outdoor meet of the season, Central Baptist College track & field was at Young-Wise Memorial Stadium today for the 2022 Hendrix Alumni Open. Two Mustangs combined to win three events while another placed on the podium in his event.
