Langston, Okla. – Looking to take their second straight trip to Kansas City and the round of 16, #15 Central Baptist College men’s basketball took on #22 Langston tonight at C.F. Gayles Field House in the NAIA Basketball Tournament Second Round Presented by Ballogy. #15 CBC (27-6) trailed by two at halftime, forced overtime, but ultimately saw their season come to an end at Langston (26-7) by a score of 81-76.

Langston, Okla. – Playing for the third straight season in the NAIA Opening Round presented by Ballogy, #15 Central Baptist College men’s basketball, the #5 seed in the Naismith Bracket, took on the #12 seeded William Carey Crusaders tonight at C.F. Gayles Field House. #15 CBC (27-5) shot over 52 percent from the field and came back from a second half deficit to beat WCU (19-11) 97-82 and advance to the second round of the tournament for the second straight season.

Kansas City, Mo. - #15 Central Baptist College men’s basketball made history last night when the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics made their selections for the 64-team field of the NAIA Men’s Basketball Tournament. For the first time in program history, CBC earned an at large bid to the NAIA tournament.

Conway, Ark. – Coming off a hard fought win to open the American Midwest Conference Tournament Presented by Tandem HR, #15 Central Baptist College men’s basketball hosted the Columbia Cougars for the second time in nine days, this time in the semifinals. #15 CBC (26-4) never trailed, leading by as many as 16 before fight off a hard charge by CC (22-8) to hang on for a 78-74 win to advance to the AMC Tournament Championship game for the fourth time in five years.

Reddin Fieldhouse tonight, #15 Central Baptist College men’s basketball, the #2 seed in the tournament, hosted the #7 seed Mission University Patriots in the American Midwest Conference quarterfinals. #15 CBC (25-4) never trailed, knocking Mission (8-18) out of the tournament by a score of 83-76 to advance to the semifinals for the eighth season in a row.

Conway, Ark. – Playing their final regular season game at home, #18 Central Baptist College men’s basketball hosted the Columbia Cougars tonight looking to clinch at least a share of their second straight American Midwest Conference regular season title. #18 CBC (24-4, 17-1 AMC) accomplished their goal, racing to a 19-point halftime lead before sailing to a 97-76 win over CC (20-7, 13-4 AMC) to clinch at least a share of the AMC regular season crown, pending the result of the William Woods-Mission University contest on Saturday.

Mims Gymnasium. CBC (17-4) led at halftime and clamped down defensively in the second half, outscoring PSU (17-6) 43-30 for an 89-69 win.

CBC (16-4, 10-1 AMC) took care of business, leading 59-29 at halftime before cruising to a 106-68 win over UHSP (6-14, 0-11 AMC).
