CBC Takes Fifth at Spring Invitational

Cabot, Ark. – Sitting within striking distance of the overall lead after 36 holes, Central Baptist College men’s golf looked to capture their third tournament win of the season at their own Spring Invitational at Cypress Creek Golf Course. CBC closed with a final round 304 and finished fifth with a score of 927, 25 shots behind the winners from Mineral Area College.

Cabot, Ark. – Playing on their home course for the first time this season, Central Baptist College men’s golf hosted the CBC Spring Invitational at Cypress Creek Golf Course. CBC is in fifth place after shooting a 36-hole score of 623, 21 shots behind the leaders Mineral Area College.

Columbia, Mo. – Looking to makeup ground after day one, Central Baptist College men’s golf teed off today in the final round of the Columbia Spring Invitational at Columbia Country Club. The Mustangs improved by 18 shots, shooting a final round 306 to finish with a 630 and in 11th place.

Columbia, Mo. – Playing for the first time this spring, Central Baptist College teed off today for the first 18 holes of the Columbia College Spring Invitational. CBC shot a 324 in the opening round and is in 12th place, 36 strokes behind the hosts and leaders, Columbia.

Slapal Earns AMC Athlete of the Week

St. Louis, Mo. – For the second time this season, Central Baptist College men’s golf has had an athlete selected as the American Midwest Conference’s golfer of the week. Jakub Slapal was the recipient of that recognition this week, joining teammate Kitsakon Jairak, who earned recognition earlier this season.

Maumelle, Ark. – Playing for the final time this fall season, Central Baptist College men’s golf teed off today at the Country Club of Arkansas for the first 36 of 54 holes at the CBC Fall Invitational. The Mustangs shot a two-round total of 615 to lead by five strokes headed into tomorrow’s final round.

Henderson, Tenn. – Entering the final round of the Freed-Hardeman Fall Invitational with a three shot lead, Central Baptist College men’s golf was on course at the Chickasaw Golf Club today looking for their second win of the fall. CBC closed with an 18-over-par round of 306 to finish in second place, 12 shots off the winners, Tennessee-Southern.

Batesville, Ark. – Entering the final round two shots off the lead, Central Baptist College men’s golf looked to jump one spot and take their second win of the fall season at the Scots Fall Invitational on the Course at Eagle Mountain. CBC closed with a 302 to finish with a 599, six strokes off the win in fourth place.

Batesville, Ark. – Coming off a win two weeks ago in the Williams Baptist Fall Invitational, Central Baptist College men’s golf teed off this morning in the first round of the Scots Fall Invitational at the Course at Eagle Mountain. CBC shot an opening round 297 and sits in a tie for second place, two shots behind first round leader Williams Baptist.
Jairak Earns AMC Golfer of the Week Award

St. Louis, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference named their first men’s golf athletes of the week for the fall season today and Kitsakon Jairak was the first selection. Jairak earned his second career athlete of the week selection, following his Oct. 23 selection last year.

CBC shot a final round 296 for a total of 579, winning by 12 shots over Lyon College.
