14 Fall Athletes Earn Daktronics Scholar Athlete Honors From The NAIA

Kansas City, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) proudly announces the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for fall sports. This honor recognizes student-athletes in each of the fall sports who have excelled academically including men's cross country, men's soccer, women's cross country, women's soccer and volleyball.

St. Louis, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference announced the all-conference selections for women’s soccer this morning. Central Baptist College midfielder Kitanna Richards earned a second-team selection from the coaches today.
Women's Soccer Season Ends In AMC Quarterfinals

Columbia, Mo. – Opening the American Midwest Conference quarterfinals tonight as the #8 seed, Central Baptist College women’s soccer took on the regular season champion Columbia Cougars at Marvin Owens Field. CBC (0-11-1) saw their season end at the hands of CC (15-1-1), falling 9-0.
Mustangs Drop Regular Season Finale To William Woods

North Little Rock, Ark. – Looking to end the regular season on a high note, Central Baptist College women’s soccer hosted the Owls of William Woods this afternoon in an American Midwest Conference match at Burns Park on Senior Day. Samara Hernandez, Danna Lozano, Julissa Arevalo and Josie Gelsthorpe were all honored before the match as CBC (0-10-1, 0-7 AMC) dropped their final match of the regular season 4-0 to WWU (9-6-3, 5-2 AMC).

Columbia, Mo. – Playing on the road for the final time this season, Central Baptist College women’s soccer played the Columbia College Cougars this afternoon in an American Midwest Conference contest at Marvin Owens Field. CBC (0-9-1, 0-6-0 AMC) allowed six goals in the first half and two in the second half to fall 8-0 to CC (13-1-1, 6-0-0 AMC).

North Little Rock, Ark. – Returning home for a stretch of three of their final four matches at Burns Park, Central Baptist College women’s soccer hosted the Williams Baptist University Eagles tonight in an American Midwest Conference contest. CBC (0-8-1, 0-5-0 AMC) failed to score, allowing three goals in the first half and four in the second to WBU (4-10, 2-3 AMC), falling 7-0.

St. Louis, Mo. – Playing with only eight players, Central Baptist College women’s soccer took on the Spartans of Missouri Baptist this afternoon at Spartan Field in an American Midwest Conference clash. CBC (0-7-1, 0-4 AMC) allowed three in the first half and six in the second half to lose 9-0 to MBU (5-7, 3-0 AMC).

North Little Rock, Ark. – Playing shorthanded for the second consecutive week, Central Baptist College women’s soccer hosted the Hornets of Harris-Stowe State in an American Midwest Conference match this afternoon at the Burns Park Soccer Complex. 10-women CBC (0-6-1, 0-3 AMC) gave up three goals in the first half and two in the second to fall to HSSU (4-5-1, 1-2 AMC) 5-0 after the match was called after 70 minutes due to attrition.

Conway, Ark. – Playing at Centennial Soccer Park for the first time this season, Central Baptist College women’s soccer hosted the Stars of Stephens College today in an American Midwest Conference contest. CBC (0-5-1, 0-2 AMC) trailed 2-0 to SC (2-6-1, 1-1 AMC) at halftime before scoring their first goal of the season in the second half, ultimately losing 3-1.
CBC Drops AMC Opener To UHSP

Creve Coeur, Mo. – Playing their American Midwest Conference opener this afternoon, Central Baptist College women’s soccer took on the Eutectics of the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy today at the Creve Coeur Soccer Park. CBC (0-4-1, 0-1 AMC) allowed three first half and two second half goals to fall 5-0 to UHSP (3-3, 1-0 AMC).

Pine Bluff, Ark. – Opening the 2024 season this afternoon on the road, Central Baptist College women’s soccer was at the Pumphrey Soccer Complex for a match against the Golden Lions of Arkansas-Pine Bluff. CBC (0-1) trailed at halftime 3-0 before falling 4-0 to UAPB (1-1).

Conway, Ark. – Central Baptist College women’s soccer kicks off the 2024 season tomorrow afternoon in Pine Bluff as they take on the Golden Lions of the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Kickoff from the Pumphrey Soccer Complex is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
