Carlisle Earns AMC Athlete of the Week Honors

            St. Louis, Mo. – For the first time this men's basketball season, #14 Central Baptist College has the American Midwest Conference offensive player of the week. Jonas Carlisle earned the recognition this week for the first time in his career.

            Carlisle led the #14 Mustangs to a season-opening win on Thursday night at Blue Mountain Christian University. He had 20 points, 15 of which came in the first half, and a career-high 15 rebounds in the 79-76 victory. Carlisle and the Mustangs play their first game at Reddin Fieldhouse this season on Thursday when they welcome the Ecclesia Royals to town. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
