#MustangsWin! #13 CBC Leads Wire-To-Wire In Win Over Mission!

            Conway, Ark. – Playing their penultimate home game of the 2024 calendar year, #13 Central Baptist College men's basketball hosted the Patriots of Mission University tonight in an American Midwest Conference game inside A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. #13 CBC (10-2, 4-0 AMC) used a strong offensive performance to race past MU (2-8, 1-3 AMC) 100-91.

            Wade Williams had a career night, leading the way with career-highs in points (26), made field goals (10) and made threes (six) while also handing out a career-high five assists. Devin Foster also scored in double-figures with a career-high 17 points while Sage Borbon and Jonas Carlisle both had 16 and Brian Alexander poured in 13 off the bench. The Mustangs had 17 threes and were plus-four (43-39) on the glass and never trailed, leading by as many as 21 points with eight and half minutes left in the first half.

MUSTANG NOTES

  • CBC picked their 10th victory of the season, the second fastest that they have reached 10 wins (12 games)
  • The Mustangs improved to 16-2 all-time against the Patriots and have won the last eight meetings
  • CBC is 9-1 when leading at halftime this season and 206-43 all-time
  • Foster also contributed seven blocked shots, a career-high and tied for the second most ever in a single game
  • This is the second time this season the Mustangs have crossed the century mark, putting up 114 against Ecclesia on Oct. 31.
  • CBC's 17 made threes are tied for the third-most all-time in a game
  • The Mustangs had 29 assists, tied for the fourth most in a game in program history
