Johnson Earns AMC Offensive Player of the Week honors

            St. Louis, Mo. – For the fifth time this season and the first time since the week of Dec. 16, #17 Central Baptist College men's basketball has earned AMC Offensive Player of the Week. Gabe Johnson earned the honor this week, joining Jonas Carlisle and Sage Borbon (three times) to earn offensive player of the week honors.

            Johnson scored 17 points, grabbed five rebounds and had four assists in Thursday night's win over Columbia on the road. 13 of his 17 points came in the first half and helped CBC improve to 13-1 when leading at halftime this season.

            Johnson and the Mustangs play Williams Baptist tonight at the Southerland-Mabee Center in Walnut Ridge with tipoff scheduled for 5 p.m.
