Carlisle Earns AMC Defensive Player of the Week honors

St. Louis, Mo. – For the first time this season, Central Baptist College men's basketball has the American Midwest Conference defensive player of the week. Jonas Carlisle, who was the offensive player of the week in week one, earned defensive recognition this time.
Carlisle helped lead #18 CBC to three wins on the week to help them set a new pre-AMC Tournament wins record with 23. He averaged 5.5 rebounds and six blocked shots and a couple of steals while also averaging 10.7 points per game.
Carlisle and the 18th ranked Mustangs host Columbia in the regular season finale on Thursday night with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
