CBC Leads After Round One of Williams Baptist Invitational

            Kennett, Mo. – Coming off a second place finish at last week's SCU Invitational, Central Baptist College men's golf teed off today in the opening round of the Williams Baptist University Invitational at the Kennett Country Club. CBC shot a 283 to lead by 10 strokes after round one.

            Individually, Kitsakon Jairak and Suraprat Pareepart are the co-leaders after both fired first round 68's for a one shot lead. Cooper Hermann is tied for fifth after shooting an even-par 72 while Jakub Slapal shot a 75 and Preston Nestorenko shot an 81. Gustavo Bello, competing as an individual, fired an opening round 78. The Mustangs will tee off at 8 a.m. tomorrow looking for their first win this fall.
