Mustangs Lead After Round One Of Freed-Hardeman Fall Invitational

Henderson, Tenn. – Playing in their penultimate fall tournament, Central Baptist College men's golf teed off today in the first round of the Freed-Hardeman Fall Invitational at the Chickasaw Golf Club. CBC shot an opening round 293 and holds a three shot lead after one round.
Individually, Jakub Slapal is in second place after firing a three-under par round of 69, two shots off the lead. Cooper Hermann and Kitsakon Jairak are both tied for sixth after shooting first round 74's while Suraprat Pareepart shot a 76 and Preston Nestorenko shot a 79. Jack Higginbotham and Gustavo Bello competed as individuals, with Higginbotham posting an 80 and Bello shooting an 84. The Mustangs will tee off in the final round tomorrow at 8 a.m. looking for their second win of the fall.
