Slapal Earns AMC Athlete of the Week

            St. Louis, Mo. – For the second time this season, Central Baptist College men's golf has had an athlete selected as the American Midwest Conference's golfer of the week. Jakub Slapal was the recipient of that recognition this week, joining teammate Kitsakon Jairak, who earned recognition earlier this season.

            Slapal tied for third at last week's Freed-Hardeman Fall Invitational in Tennessee. He opened with a 69 and closed with a 77 to finish with an overall score of 146, two strokes behind the winner. The men play their final round of the fall tomorrow at the Country Club of Arkansas.
