Mustangs Can't Hold Halftime Lead At #20 Columbia

            Columbia, Mo. – Playing on the road for the final time in the regular season, Central Baptist College men's soccer was at Marvin Owens Field today for an American Midwest Conference matchup with the Columbia Cougars. CBC (4-12, 1-5 AMC) scored first and led at halftime, but surrendered six goals in the second half to fall to #20 Columbia (9-2-4, 4-0-2 AMC) 6-1.

            Parker Tebo netted the first goal of his career in the 26th minute on the third assist of the season from Hugh McAuley. Jasper Gadellaa also returned in net for the Mustangs today and made 10 stops, his fourth career 10-plus save match.

            CBC returns home for the final two matches of the regular season, beginning with a visit from new AMC rival Mission University on Tuesday afternoon. Kickoff from Burns Park is scheduled for 5 p.m.
