Indoor Track Debuts at NAIA Juco Challenge

            Pittsburg, Kan. – Competing for the first time this season, Central Baptist College indoor track was at the NAIA Juco Challenge today at Pittsburg State University. Four athletes competed in three events for CBC.

            Bay Davis was the lone competitor on the women's side, as she ran a 3:10.71 in the women's 800 meter race. Josh Brown and Kortney Embry competed in the men's 60-meter hurdles, with Brown setting a new PR of 8.92 and Embry finishing in a time of 10.64. Solomon Barnes made his collegiate debut in the triple jump and finished in sixth place with a distance of 13.73 meters, which also put him second amongst NAIA competitors.

            The only other indoor track meet for the Mustangs will be the American Midwest Conference championship meet on February 15 in Elsah, Ill.
