Mustangs Compete At Little Rock Invitational

Little Rock, Ark. – Competing for the second straight Saturday, Central Baptist College track was at UALR today for the Little Rock Invitational. This was the final tune up for the track team before the American Midwest Conference championship in two weeks.
Evan East competed in both the 200 and 400 meter events, posting a time of 22.75 in the 200 and 53.14 in the 400. His time in the 200 was the seventh fastest in program history. Josh Brown ran a 15.70 in the 110 meter hurdles, the fourth fastest time in program history and then he nearly broke 1 minute in the 400 hurdles, posting the second fastest time ever at 1:00.61. Bay Davis was the lone women's competitor, running the 800 meters in a time of 3:12.36, ninth fastest in program history.
CBC will be in St. Louis on the weekend of May 3-4 for the AMC Championships, hosted by Missouri Baptist.
