
Brown Wins Individual Title at AMC Championship

St. Louis, Mo. – Competing on the final day of the American Midwest Conference championship meet, Central Baptist College sent five competitors to the final day of the competition. Josh Brown was able to come away with an individual championship as he joined Evan East, Mackenzie Milligan, Bay Davis and Lindsey Risner on the track.
Brown won the 110-meter hurdles title for the second straight year, posting a time of 15.66. He also finished fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:00.46. East competed in the 200-meter semifinals on Wednesday and posted a time of 23.37 before competing in the 400-meter final on Thursday posting a time of 53.04, good for eighth place. Milligan ran the 1500-meters in a time of 6:39.62 while Davis also competed in the 1500, posting a time of 7:14.22. Davis also ran the 800 meters in a time of 3:16.72 and Risner ran the 100-and 200-meter semis on Wednesday, posting times of 16.58 and 34.13.
Track will take to the course one more time next week at Harding in the Bison Last Chance.
