Conway, Ark. – Central Baptist College wrestling coach Ken Prophete has announced the 2024-25 schedule for the mat Mustangs. The schedule includes 11 matches with two in front of the home crowd at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse.
"This schedule, like last season, is not an easy one," said Prophete. "It is a necessary one to get our guys ready for postseason competition. We are excited to host the AMC/SAC Duals this season and looking forward to the competition leading to the conference tournament."
The season starts on November 2 when CBC heads to Kentucky for the Patriot Open hosted by University of the Cumberlands. The month continues with a trip to Oklahoma for the Carl Albert Open on the ninth, followed by the Grand View Open in Iowa on the 16th and the Life University Open in Ga., on the 23rd.
December has two matches, beginning with a duel at Oklahoma City on the sixth. The final match of the calendar year is on the 14th in Oklahoma at the 918 Open.
The new year opens with a trip to St. Louis for the Missouri Baptist Invitational on the 11th of January and is followed on the 18th by the American Midwest Conference/Sooner Athletic Conference Duals at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse.
Three matches in February wrap the schedule, beginning with the Missouri Valley Open in Marshall, Mo., on the first. Senior Night at Reddin Fieldhouse is on the sixth against AMC rival Williams Baptist and the American Midwest Conference Championship matches take place on the 17th in St. Louis.
