Wrestling Competes at Mean Green Fall Invitational

            Denton, Texas – Competing for the third straight Saturday, Central Baptist College wrestling was at the Mean Green Invitational today, hosted by the University of North Texas. Isaiah Hendrix, Mason Nguyen and Jordan Allen-Smith were the competitors today for the Mustangs.

            Hendrix went 1-2 at 149 pounds, winning his first match by fall at the 5:00 mark before losing by fall and major decision. Nguyen would capture third place at 149 pounds, dropping his first match before reeling off victories over Hendrix in the consolation semifinal and over Javier Hernandez is the third place match by a technical fall score of 19-2 and Allen-Smith dropped both of his matches at 197 pounds.

            CBC returns to the mat next week in Georgia for the Life University Open.
