Conway, Ark. – Stepping out of American Midwest Conference play for the final time this season, Central Baptist College women's basketball took on the Toppers of Blue Mountain Christian University at Reddin Fieldhouse this afternoon. CBC (3-3) led after one quarter, but trailed by six at halftime before losing 60-39 to BMCU (7-3).
Tamara Christmas led the way with 15 points off the bench while Addison Hudspeth joined her in double figures with 12. Raigan Head grabbed a team-leading 11 rebounds and Rhys Anderson handed out five assists. CBC was outshot 34-percent to 29-percent from the field and made just two of 21 threes compared to eight for the Toppers.
The Lady Mustangs are off until December 5 when they return to AMC play in Nevada, Mo., against Cottey College. Tipoff from Hinkhouse Gymnasium is slated for 5:30 p.m.
