Conway, Ark. – Playing at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse for the final time in the 2024 calendar year, Central Baptist College women's basketball hosted the Patriots of Mission University in an American Midwest Conference tilt. CBC (4-5, 2-3 AMC) couldn't overcome a three-point halftime deficit, dropping the contest 92-78 to MU (7-2, 4-1 AMC).
Addison Hudspeth paced the Lady Mustangs in scoring with 19 points while Aliya Grotjohn chipped in with 15, Raigan Head added 13 and Tamara Christmas had 10. CBC was outshot 52 percent to 40 percent from the field and lost the points in the paint battle 42-28, but did outrebound Mission 40-36 and made more threes and more free throws as well.
CBC wraps up the calendar year with a trip to St. Louis on Saturday to take on the Harris-Stowe State Hornets. Tipoff from the Emerson Performance Center is slated for 1 p.m.
