Lady Mustangs Lose To Stars

            Columbia, Mo. – Playing on the road for the third time this week, Central Baptist College women's basketball took on the Stars of Stephens College this afternoon in an American Midwest Conference clash inside Silverthorne Arena. CBC (7-8, 5-6 AMC) trailed 32-9 at halftime and lost 75-40 to SC (10-7, 7-4 AMC).

            Aliya Grotjohn led the way with 20 points for CBC, 16 of which came after halftime. Rhys Anderson handed out four assists and became the third player in program history with at least 200 assists, joining Holly Allen and Britney Nealy.

            The Mustangs continue their current five-game road trip on Thursday in Fulton, Mo., when they take on the William Woods Owls to start the second half of conference play. Tipoff from Anderson Arena is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
