Women's Golf Plays First Round of WBU Invitational

            Kennett, Mo. – Playing for the first time on a Monday this season, Central Baptist College women's golf opened play today in the first round of the Williams Baptist University Fall Invitational at Kennett Country Club. Abby Kirby, Laney Crutchfield and Thaylia Ramirez were the three competitors for CBC in the 23-player field.

            Kirby fired the best round of the day for CBC, shooting a 78 to sit in a tie for second, four shots off the lead. Crutchfield opened the tournament with an 87 and Ramirez shot a first round 98. The Mustangs tee off at 8 a.m. tomorrow for the final round.
