Mustangs Finish Eighth at Columbia Spring Invitational

            Columbia, Mo. – Playing in the final round of their first tournament of the spring season, Central Baptist College women's golf was at the Columbia Country Club today for the Columbia Spring Invitational. CBC shot a 378 in the second round to finish with a 757, good for eighth place.

            Individually, Abby Kirby tied for sixth, firing a final round 78 to finish with a 163, just four shots behind the winner. Laney Crutchfield closed with an 85 to finish with a 177 while Thaylia Ramirez shot a 100 to finish at 192 and Danielle Alastre shot a 115 to finish at 215.

            CBC hosts their spring invitational next week beginning on Monday. The tournament will take place at the Cypress Creek Golf Course in Cabot.
