CBC Competes At Dan Veach Invitational

Magnolia, Ark. – Competing in state for the third weekend in a row, Central Baptist College track and field was at the Mulerider Athletic Complex today for the Southern Arkansas University Dan Veach Invitational. Three athletes, Isaiah Stiger, Ashleigh Gross-Mitchell and Ally Swaim, all competed in six events total.

            Stiger competed in the men's long jump and finished sixth, jumping a distance of 5.79 meters. Gross-Mitchell participated in three events, posting a time of 13.53 in the 100-meters, a distance of 4.26 meters in the long jump and a distance of 8.66 meters in the shot put, which was her first time ever participating in a throwing event. Swaim finished fourth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.83.

            CBC is back on Thursday, April 6, for a meet in Searcy at Harding.
