
Mustangs Dot Record Books At Harding Open

Searcy, Ark. – Running on a Thursday for the first time this season, Central Baptist College track & field was on course today at the Harding Open. Six competitors, Ally Swaim, Ashleigh Gross-Mitchell, Mackenzie Milligan, Jadon Price, Isaiah Stiger and Josh Brown all competed in different events today.
Swaim competed in the 100 meter hurdles and posted the second fastest time of the meet, a 14.93, which also was the ninth fastest time in program history. Gross-Mitchell ran the 200-meters and posted a personal best time for her of 28.28 while also competing in the shot put, where she registered a throw of 8.21 meters, the second longest ever. Milligan ran the 1500-meter race in a time of 6:25.01, the fastest time in program history. On the men's side, Price competed in both the long jump and the shot put, jumping a distance of 5.39 meters, his second best jump this year, while throwing a 10.81 shot put which was the six longest distance in program history. Stiger's jump of 6.22 meters in the long jump placed him third in that event and was the second longest jump ever in program history while Brown competed in both the 110-meter hurdles and the 100-meter dash. In the 110 hurdles, he posted the seventh fastest time ever of 18.58 and in the 100 meters, he set a personal best, running an 11.96.
The track team is back in action tomorrow at the Little Rock Open, hosted by Little Rock.
