Conway, Ark. – Playing at home for the second consecutive match, Central Baptist College volleyball hosted the Scots of Lyon College tonight in front of a raucous crowd at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (0-3) won the first set 25-22 before dropping the final three sets 14-25, 13-25 and 16-25 to LC (5-1).
Caroline Reams had a career night, leading the way with 11 kills on a .364 attack percentage. Brooke Schmitz tied her career high with 22 assists and Kate Scroggins paced the defense with 14 digs. CBC had 38 kills and hit .110 while Lyon had 61 kills and hit .307.
CBC is back on the court Thursday night when they head to Little Rock to take on the Panthers of Philander Smith University. First serve from Mims Gymnasium is slated for 6 p.m.
