Conway, Ark. – Hosting an NCAA opponent for the second straight Tuesday, Central Baptist College volleyball took on the Bisons of Harding University tonight in front of a nice crowd at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (0-5) got swept by HU (5-4) by scores of 15-25, 14-25 and 21-25.
Madeline Freeman had eight kills to lead the attack which was aided by a team-high 10 assists from Brooke Schmitz. Kate Scroggins recorded 12 digs to lead the way defensively as CBC had 23 kills and hit .103 compared to 43 kills and a .198 hitting percentage from Harding.
CBC is back at home next Tuesday for a matchup with Champion Christian. First serve is at 6 p.m. and the volleyball team will be having a can drive with more details to be released in the coming days.
