CBC Competes At AMC Championships

            Nevada, Mo. – Competing for the final time in the 2023 season, Central Baptist College cross country was on course today at the Frank Peters Golf Course for the American Midwest Conference Championship. The women's team finished in seventh in their first ever 6K event.

            Mackenzie Milligan paced the women's team with a time of 33:48.42, followed closely by Lindsey Risner, who finished with a 34:13.74. Three softball players joined those two as Bay Davis, Alex Jeter and Allie McWhorter all competed as well, with Davis posting a time of 36:05.97, Jeter finishing in 50:21.89 and McWhorter posting a time of 56:00.59.

            That wraps up the 2023 season for cross country but the runners will be back in the Spring for the outdoor track season.
