Columbia, Mo. – Looking to end their road trip on a high note, Central Baptist College softball took on the Stephens Stars in an American Midwest Conference doubleheader at American Legion Field. CBC (22-20, 11-5 AMC) split the doubleheader with SC (13-17, 7-5 AMC) winning game one 11-1 in six before dropping game two 8-7.

Columbia, Mo. – Looking to carry some momentum from their win on Tuesday, Central Baptist College softball took on the first place in the American Midwest Conference Columbia Cougars this afternoon at the Antimi Softball Complex. CBC (21-19, 10-4 AMC) was swept in the doubleheader by CC (22-8, 13-1 AMC) losing game one 7-1 before falling in a 10-1 run rule in game two.

Gulf Shores, Ala. – Coming off a pair of close losses to open the Gulf Coast Invitational, Central Baptist College softball was back at the Gulf Shores Sportsplex today for games against Point and Brenau. CBC (9-15) captured two wins on the day, downing the Skyhawks 4-1 before coming back from down 6-0 to beat the Tigers 8-6.

CBC (7-15) dropped both games today, falling to UTS 4-3 in eight innings before being shutout by #22 Mobile 5-0.

St. Louis, Mo. – For the first time this spring, three athletes have been named AMC Athletes of the Week. Josh Albat was named the baseball pitcher of the week with Julian Rodriguez earning player of the week honors and Kinley Johnson earning softball player of the week honors for the second time.

Tuscaloosa, Ala. – Trying to salvage a game from the four games in Alabama this weekend, Central Baptist College softball took on the United States Sports Academy and Stillman at the Stillman Softball Complex. CBC (4-12) took the game with USSA (2-7) 2-1 before dropping the Stillman (9-5) contest 13-5.
